Proximity Probe Solution
What is it?
API 670 compliant, eddie current proximity probes. Compatible with previous models from other manufacturers.
How does it work?
Proximity probes are installed through the machine’s casing to focus on the problems associated with shafts of larger machines that have oil lubricated bearings.
Which problem does it solve?
For machines that have casings too large for vibration information to propagate through to case mounted sensors, these probes allow analysts to see problems with shaft vibration.
Backward compatibility with older systems which many manufacturers no longer produce.
These probes are also the front end for our TwinProx system which allows for many new features that improve upon older techniques that haven’t been updated on older proximity systems.
